Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Seekze platform. By accessing or using Seekze, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
1. About Seekze
Seekze is a career communication platform that connects students, graduates, and professionals with industry experts through live 1:1 sessions, and helps businesses find and engage emerging talent.
These Terms apply to all users of the Seekze website (seekze.com) and platform, including students, professionals, businesses, and visitors.
References to ‘Seekze’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’ refer to the Seekze platform and its operators.
References to ‘you’ or ‘user’ refer to any individual or organisation using the platform.
2. Eligibility
To use Seekze, you must:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the platform under applicable law
By using Seekze, you confirm that you meet these requirements. If you are registering on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. User Accounts and Registration
3.1 Registration
To access certain features of Seekze, you will need to register by submitting a registration form. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep this information updated.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials associated with your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@seekze.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
3.3 Account termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or used the platform in a way that is harmful to other users or to Seekze.
4. User Roles and Responsibilities
4.1 Students and graduates
As a student or graduate user, you agree to:
• Use Seekze sessions for genuine career development and learning purposes
• Attend booked sessions or cancel with reasonable notice
• Treat experts and other users with respect and professionalism
• Not record sessions without the explicit consent of all participants
• Not misrepresent your background, qualifications, or intentions
4.2 Professionals and experts
As a professional or expert on the platform, you agree to:
• Provide accurate information about your professional background and expertise
• Deliver sessions with genuine knowledge, care, and professionalism
• Not provide regulated professional advice (e.g. legal, medical, financial) unless you hold the appropriate qualifications and permissions
• Set fair and transparent pricing for your sessions
• Maintain confidentiality regarding information shared by students during sessions
• Not solicit students to engage with you outside the Seekze platform in a way that circumvents our fee structure
4.3 Businesses
As a business user, you agree to:
• Use the platform only for legitimate hiring, talent engagement, and career development purposes
• Not misrepresent your company, roles, or intentions to students or professionals
• Comply with applicable employment law, equal opportunities legislation, and data protection law in your interactions with candidates
• Not use contact details or information obtained through Seekze for unsolicited marketing
5. Sessions and Bookings
5.1 Booking
Sessions are booked through the Seekze platform. Once a booking is confirmed, both the student and expert are expected to attend at the agreed time.
5.2 Cancellation and no-show policy
We ask all users to give reasonable notice if they cannot attend a session. Specific cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of booking. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in account restrictions.
5.3 Conduct during sessions
All sessions must be conducted respectfully and professionally. We do not permit:
• Harassment, abuse, or discriminatory behaviour of any kind
• Solicitation of personal contact details for purposes unrelated to the session
• Recording of sessions without all-party consent
• Any content or conduct that is illegal, offensive, or harmful
Seekze reserves the right to take action — including account suspension — against any user who breaches these conduct standards.
5.4 Role of Seekze in sessions
Seekze acts as a platform facilitating connections between users. We are not a party to the session itself and are not responsible for the advice given, decisions made, or outcomes arising from sessions. Professionals on our platform are independent practitioners, not
employees or agents of Seekze.
6. Payments and Fees
6.1 Student payments
Where sessions are paid, students will be charged at the rate displayed at the time of booking. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider. Seekze does not store full payment card details.
6.2 Professional earnings
Professionals set their own session rates. Seekze will deduct a platform commission from each completed session and remit the remainder to the professional. Commission rates will be communicated separately and may be updated with reasonable notice.
6.3 Business fees
Businesses using Seekze’s talent pool, screening tools, or employer branding features may be subject to separate commercial terms. These will be agreed in writing before services are activated.
6.4 Refunds
Refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances of each case — for example, a session that did not take place due to expert non-attendance. To request a refund, please contact hello@seekze.com within 7 days of the relevant session date. We aim to resolve refund requests within 10 working days.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Seekze content
All content on the Seekze website and platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to Seekze and is protected by UK copyright and intellectual property law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Seekze content without our prior written permission.
7.2 User content
Any content you submit to Seekze — including profile information, session notes, feedback, or messages — remains owned by you. By submitting content, you grant Seekze a non exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and process that content for the purpose of operating and improving the platform.
You confirm that any content you submit does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party.
8. Prohibited Use
You must not use Seekze to:
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code
• Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the platform without our written consent
• Use the platform to spam, solicit, or send unsolicited commercial communications
• Circumvent any security features or access controls on the platform
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or degrades the performance of the platform
• Post or share content that is defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful
9. Disclaimers
9.1 Platform availability
We aim to make Seekze available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
We may take the platform offline for maintenance, upgrades, or other operational reasons.
We will endeavour to provide advance notice where possible.
9.2 Professional advice
Content and sessions on Seekze are for career guidance and informational purposes only.
Nothing on the platform constitutes legal, financial, medical, or other regulated professional advice. You should seek qualified professional advice before making any significant decisions.
9.3 Expert verification
While we take steps to verify the backgrounds and credentials of experts on the platform, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all information provided by professionals. Users should exercise their own judgement when acting on advice received in sessions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
• Seekze shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform
• Our total liability to you in connection with any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Seekze in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for the conduct, content, or advice of any expert or user on the platform
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seekze and its team members from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from:
• Your breach of these Terms
• Your misuse of the platform
• Any content you submit that infringes third-party rights
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
12. Third-Party Links and Services
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party tools. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of any third-party services.
Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the ‘Last updated’ date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email.
Continued use of Seekze after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Seekze shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless alternative dispute resolution is agreed between the parties.
